Rebecca McCurdy

Rebecca McCurdy grew up in Brimfield and started working at five years old with the McCurdy Group taking out the trash. Eventually, she was promoted to answering phones and filing. After graduating from Tantasqua, she moved to New York City and obtained a dual Bachelor of Arts in Economics and the Arts from the New School University. She also completed the Para Planner program through the College for Financial Planning. She then endeavored in a variety of pursuits to make ends meet, as is typical of post-graduate life in New York City, including working as a waitress, hostess, dog walker, nanny and social media specialist at a real estate start-up company. She then worked as an EMT while also completing her pre-medical Postbaccalaureate requirements. Rebecca moved to New Haven, CT to obtain a Master of Medical Science degree from Yale University. She currently works as a Hospitalist Physician Assistant at Yale New Haven Hospital and as a clinical instructor at Yale University. She is excited to be coming full circle and joining McCurdy Group as a personal and commercial lines agent and operations VP. Rebecca resides in North Branford, CT with her husband Garry, son Mateo, and dog Rooney.
